Utricularia reflexa {Okavango Swamp, Botswana} / 5+ plants
Aquatic species. African subtropical Utricularia reflexa plants (from Okavango Swamp, Botswana) for indoor or outdoor cultivation. This aquatic species is only ca. 40-50 cm long but forms giant traps up to 6 mm large. Thus, it can capture also rather big zooplankton as prey. The species prefers slight shading. The cultivation of this perennial species even in small 3-l miniaquaria is very easy and is the same as for other aquatic Utricularia. The species grows best at 22-28 oC but tolerates 10-12 oC over winter. In warm water, the daily production of 2 new leaf whorls is common.
